On 22 Oct 16, a man was killed after being struck by a stray bullet in the southern suburbs of Beirut during celebratory gunfire. The 39-year-old man was shot in the back as he was standing on Abdul Noor Street in the Haret Hreik neighborhood. He later succumbed to his wounds after being admitted to the Sainte Therese Hospital in the nearby town of Hadath.
