A supermarket in the Sidon town of Majdalyoun was robbed by unidentified assailants Monday, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The shop is owned by a man identified as Afif S. The robbers, who broke into the shop forcefully, reportedly took food, cigarettes and other products.

Investigations have been initiated by security forces in order to determine the value and nature of the items stolen.
