BEIRUT: Beirut Madinati activists held a protest outside the city's municipality in Downtown Beirut to protest the ongoing construction of a resort in Ramlet al-Baida, despite a Shura Council decision to temporarily halt it.
Dozens of activists rallied in the rain to protest ongoing works at the site, demanding that Beirut Governor Ziad Chebib carry out the Shura Council ruling.
