Three elderly Christian priests (93, 87, and 60) were slain in the monastery of Deir Ashash, North Lebanon. The same day, armed men attacked the Christian village of Beit Mellat in Akkar, North Lebanon, as they drove in and started shooting. Between five and eight civilians were killed, and ten were disappeared. Also, the militiamen burned down six homes and the church, and stole several cars.
