دهمت دورية من المديرية العامة لامن الدولة، إثر معلومات توافرت لدى لمديرية، منزل المدعو (ع. ع.)، مكتوم القيد، في محلة صبرا في بيروت، وأوقفته بجرم قيامه بعدة عمليات سرقة، وتم ضبط بزة عسكرية عائدة إلى قوى الأمن الداخلي وآلات حادة في منزله، كان يستخدمها في السرقات. وتبين أن في حق الموقوف مذكرات توقيف عدة، منها السرقة ومعاملة عناصر عسكرية بالشدة وتم تسليمه مع المضبوطات إلى النيابة العامة العسكرية.
