أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي في بيان أنه "بعد حصول إطلاق نار في وسط بيروت على خلفية اشكال بين مجهول وأمن أحد الملاهي وفراره، في أقل من ساعة، أوقفت دورية من فوج الطوارئ مطلق النار ويدعى هـ. ا. (1999)".
