بعد تفشي ظاهرة ترويج المخدرات والضرر الذي تلحقه بالمجتمع وبخاصة فئة الشباب.
ونتيجة المتابعة والرصد، تمكنت احدى دوريات شعبة المعلومات في قوى الامن الداخلي من توقيف شخصين على متن آلية نوع "هيونداي"، في محلة نهر الموت، وهما : م. ص. (مواليد عام 2002، لبناني)، ا.ا.(مواليد عام 1997، مكتوم القيد)
ضبط في حوزتهما كمية كبيرة من المخدرات، موضبة بطريقة متقنة في ضمن اكياس معدة للترويج، وهي عبارة عن : 66 مظروفا تحتوي على مادتي الكوكايين وباز كوكايين، 6 مظاريف تحتوي على حشيشة الكيف ومبلغ 780 دولارا اميركيا و3 ملايين و102 الف ليرة لبنانية.
