تمكنت المديرية العامة لأمن الدولة، بعد عملية رصد وتعقب لعمليات تهريب الأشخاص، من توقيف السوري (عبد الإله. ع) بالجرم المشهود، في بلدة كفرتون في عكار، حيث كان ينقل على متن دراجته النارية أفرادا من الداخل السوري إلى الأراضي اللبنانية.
وبالتحقيق معه، إعترف بأنه يعمل ضمن شبكة موزعة بين لبنان وسوريا، يديرها الشقيقان السوريان علي ومحمود (ع.)، اللذان ينتميان الى تنظيم داعش، وقاتلا في معارك جرود عرسال. كما اعترف الموقوف بأنه نقل المهربين، من معابر غير شرعية في بلدة حنيدر، الى منزل اللبناني (م.خ) في بلدة الكنيسة، قبل أن يتم نقلهم مجددا إلى المكان المقصود بواسطة فان عمومي.
بناء لإشارة القضاء، تم توقيف كل من اللبناني (م.خ.) والسوري (عبد الإله. ع) بجرم تهريب اشخاص، وأربعة سوريين آخرين لدخولهم لبنان خلسة. والعمل جار لتوقيف باقي أفراد الشبكة.
