On 16 Feb 17, after surveillance, Lebanese Army Forces Intelligence patrol arrested a person wanted for planting an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a building in Beddaoui-Tripoli area. The IED was discovered as a HOAX as it was formed of bottle of oils and fuel and a mobile phone wrapped in electric wires.
