On 03 March 2015, The Lebanese Army shelled before noon with heavy artillery militants' movements in Ras Baalbek outskirts. Later on the same day, the Lebanese Army expanded his attacks against the armed gangs and bombarded stations and suspicious movements of the militants towards Aarsal outskirts. In addition the Lebanese army widened the scope of targeting gunmen in Anti-Lebanon region in the outskirts of Arsal, and reached Wadi Hmayed. Engagement developed in Wadi Hmayed, with heavy artillery and missiles were reportedly used killing and wounding a number of gunmen.
