Attackers opened fire on Friday at 4;45 a.m. on a military bus transporting troops in Bireh-Akkar and resulted in the death of soldier Jean Al-Hashem, the Army directorate said.
Instantly the Army cordoned off the area and carried out raids in search for perpetrators in a bid to arrest and drag them to justice.
