On 05 Apr 15, The Lebanese army foiled an infiltration attempt by gunmen near the northeastern border town of Arsal, killing a militant and detaining another. The military pointed out that militant Khalil Ahmed was killed, while Ahmed Karam al-Hassan was arrested in the operation. Both men are Syrians. Al-Hassa, according to the statement confessed that he and Ahmed are heading an armed group that is infiltrated to a terror organization. An investigation was launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
