Army raids several locations in pursuit of wanted persons Bekaa area

On 14 Aug 15, an army unit raided several locations where persons wanted in drug-related crimes are hiding, mainly in Kneisseh, Maqneh, Hermel and Dar Al-Wasiaa villages. Two persons were consequently arrested and a huge amount of light weapons and ammunition were seized in the process. The Army also captured in AlQaa-Ras Baalbek citizens on charges of smuggling goods across the border in a pickup. On the other hand, the LAF arrested in Gaza - West Bekaa 19 people of Syrian nationality wandering inside Lebanese territory illegally. All the above-mentioned detainees and seizures were handed over to the competent authorities for further action.
