داهمت قوة من مديرية مخابرات الشمال، بورة تعود للبناني و. ع.، في سقي البداوي، وأوقفت عمالا سوريين كانوا يعملون على تذويب بطاريات السيارات لاستخراج مادة الرصاص منها، الأمر الذي كان يتسبب بانبعاث دخان أسود وروائح كريهة.
وقد شكر أهالي المنطقة مخابرات الجيش على تخليصهم من هذه "الملوثات للبيئة، والتي كانت تؤدي إلى إصابة عدد من الأطفال والمسنين بحالات ضيق تنفس، إضافة إلى خطرها على مرضى الربو".
