Army raid in Boudai, Bekaa

A Lebanese Army patrol raided the houses of wanted individuals in the town of Boudai in the Bekaa, according to a statement issued by the Army Tuesday.

The Army confiscated around 200 kg of hashish, four hand grenades, a hunting rifle, an M16 rifle with ammunition and various military weapons during the raid.

The Army also arrested Nasser Mahmoud Shamas, who is wanted for engaging in multiple incidents of gun firing. A Kalashnikov rifle and ammunition was found in the latter’s house.

Investigations are ongoing and the remaining wanted individuals at large are being pursued.
