BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army killed three Daesh (ISIS) militants in an attack that destroyed their vehicle near the country’s northeastern border, the state-run National news Agency reported. The NNA reported that the missile strike targeted a vehicle loaded with shells and missiles on the outskirts of Arsal. The news comes a day after the Hezbollah-affiliated War Media Center reported that the Army had destroyed another Daesh vehicle using an anti-tank missile near the town of Ras Baalbeck. Throughout Tuesday, the Army continued to target militant posts along the outskirts of Lebanon’s eastern mountain range, using heavy artillery. The shelling in Ras Baalbeck and Arsal aims to cut off the armed groups’ supply routes.
