On 26 June 15, the Lebanese army said that it killed two armed militant after a group of gunmen tried to infiltrate the northeastern border town of Aarsal. The military said on its twitter account that it targeted a terrorist cell that was trying to enter the town from its outskirts. They seized arms and ammunition from them.
