NNA - Following meticulous follow-up and precise monitoring, Army intelligence unit managed through a qualitative operation to arrest the Palestinian Imad Yassine in Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp's Tawaree neighborhood, who is dubbed as Daash Emir in said camp, army command said in a communiqué on Thursday.
Prior to the arrest of the so-called Yassine who is wanted with several arrest warrants, he was in the process of executing several terrorist bombings against military posts, vital and touristic facilities, commercial markets, popular gatherings and residential areas in more than one Lebanese regions, commissioned and aided by terrorist organizations outside the country, communiqué said.
Investigations are underway with the apprehended person under the supervision of concerned judiciary.
