Security agencies made a number of arrests across Lebanon over the weekend, making good on promises to crack down on crime.

Army Intelligence arrested a man, Marwan Shamel Jaafar, for taking part in shootouts, while an unspecified amount of various types of drugs were found in his possession, the statement said.
