Army Command - Guidance Directorate issued on Thursday a communiqué in which they mentioned that units from the Lebanese Army carried out today dawn a swift operation at Ras Baalbeck outskirts and succeeded in having full control on the hills of Sadr Al-Jarash and Harf Al-Jarash, north- east Ras Al-Hamra hill towards the Lebanese- Syrian border.

The communiqué said that there were no injuries among the servicemen, indicating that the Army Force used during the operation cannon missiles and appropriate weapons against the gunmen gatherings next to the two hills mentioned above causing direct injuries among the gunmen.

Explosive devices, medium and light weapons, ammunition and military equipment which belong to the terrorists were confiscated, the communiqué added.
