The Lebanese Army seized a cache of weapons in the outskirts of Ras Baalbeck believed to have been left behind by militant organizations.
 
As a result of search operations, an Army force seized terrorist remnants in caves in Wadi Rafek. It included 10 RPG rounds with a launcher, 26 hand grenades and three assault rifles, as well as a quantity of medium and light rounds.
 
The area where the weapons were found was the site of the Army’s ‘Fajr Al-Jouroud’ August offensive to clear Daesh (ISIS) militants from around 120 square kilometers of Lebanese territory between the southeast of Al-Qaa, the east of Ras Baalbeck and the northeast of Arsal.
