A lebanese army statement revealed that a patrol detained Lebanese national Ahmed Ali Al-Ghourani in Maryata in the northern district of Zghorta "on the suspicion of having links with terror organizations." The army has arrested dozens of people in north Lebanon over the last year, primarily in Tripoli and its suburbs, as part of a continued crackdown on ISIS and Nusra Front militants who had previously engaged in battles with the army.
