أفاد مراسل "النشرة" بأن "وحدات من الجيش اللبناني تنفذ مداهمات وتقيم حواجز وتسير في عرسال على خلفية الاشكال الذي وقع في البلدة بين اشخاص من ال الحجيري واخرين من ال البريدي والذي ادى الى اصابة ع. البريدي بجراح خطرة، نقل على اثرها الى مستشفى المرتضى في بعلبك وما لبث ان فارق الحياة.
