On 09 Aug 15, the Lebanese army said that it has arrested a Syrian national in the northern city of Tripoli for belonging to terrorist organizations. An army communique said Mohammed Assaad Awad was apprehended in the area of al-Mankoubine. It accused the terrorist of participating in attacks on soldiers in the northeastern border town of Arsal. The communique said the man was referred to the appropriate authorities to take the necessary measures against him.
