Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested a Syrian national in the northeastern town of Arsal for his suspected involvement with terrorist organizations, the state-run National News Agency reported Tuesday.
The NNA identified the suspect as Y. al-Salamani, but the report provided no further details on the case.
The Army has been ramping up its arrest of suspected terrorists since the end of Fajr al-Joroud, an offensive military strike launched in August 2017 that drove out Daesh (ISIS) militants entrenched on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
