Army arrests six men over Tripoli shooting

On 03 Sep 17, the Lebanese Armed Forces arrested six individuals suspected of being involved in a shooting in Tripoli's Al-Hara al-Barraniyeh neighborhood that left one man dead the day before. In a crackdown on the residences of those involved in the incident in the Army confiscated two Kalashnikov rifles, two pistols and three hand grenades. The Army also found two rocket-propelled grenades and six missiles of different calibers. A number of two-way radios and light-weight ammunition were also seized, in addition to a Daesh (ISIS) flag.
