Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested a man wanted for ramming a soldier with a car in Zahle’s Ksara, according to an Army statement.
Ahmad Fahd Sharaf al-Din was wanted for chasing the Army soldier and ramming into him with his car. Another accomplice was arrested previously in the ramming case.
The statement added that Sharaf al-Din was detained after “discharging a military-grade weapon” that left a man injured in the leg.
Upon Sharaf al-Din's arrest, officers seized a military-grade weapon and an unspecified amount of hash in his possession.
