أوقفت قوّة من مديرية المخابرات المدعو حسين الحجيري الملقب بــ "جمال حلّيص"، لمشاركته إلى جانب المجموعات المسلّحة والتنظيمات الإرهابية في الاعتداء على مراكز ووحدات الجيش اللبناني وقوى الأمن الداخلي في معركة عرسال العام 2014. وأثناء عملية التوقيف تعرّضت القوّة لاطلاق نار من قبل مسلحين ما أدّى الى إصابة أحد العسكريين بجروح طفيفة وتعرض آليتين عسكريتين لأضرار مادية، بحسب ما صدر عن قيادة الجيش – مديرية التوجيه في بيان . بوشر التحقيق مع الموقوف باشراف القضاء المختص، وتستمر قوى الجيش بتعقّب مطلقي النار لتوقيفهم وإحالتهم على القضاء المختص
