On 09 July 16, the Lebanese Army arrested 70 unregistered Syrian refugees after it raided a camp north of the southern city of Saida. The army launched the raid early in the morning on one of the biggest Syrian gatherings in southern Lebanon. It searched a three-story building which households around 900 people. They were part of regular raids the army launches on refugee areas in the country’s south.
