NNA field reporter in Koura said that the guard of Amioun municipality, Rabih Jalil Gerges, was wounded during night as he was pursuing two suspected individuals by a fire shot.
Gerges was transferred to Al Burji hospital for treatment and his condition was stable.
The gendarmes of Amioun probed the case and caught one of the suspects who has been discovered as belonging to a robbery gang.
