On 08 May 16, a personal dispute occurred in Ashrafieh near a polling station in Sagesse school between the Free Patriotic Movement, delegates and supporters of Ziad Abes and former minister Nicolas Sehnaoui escalated into altercation. The Lebanese army sent reinforcements to the school to cordon the dispute and prevent its regeneration.
