One person was shot and wounded in a gunfight between members of two prominent Akkar families, local media reported.

The clash between members of the Zahraman and Deeb families occurred in the northern regions Abdeh, LBCI reported.

One person, identified as A.D., was shot in the leg and was taken to hospital by the Red Cross.

Security forces are searching for those involved in the fight.
