NNA - The Ministry of Finance has announced that, in one of the biggest smuggling operations through Rafik Hariri International Airport, the airport Customs seized at midnight (Tuesday) in the arrivals hall 31 kilograms of cocaine packed in nylon bags inside two suitcases (5 red powder and 24 white powder packs) smuggled into the country by a Lebanese coming from Brazil via Abu Dhabi.

The smuggler was arrested and the cocaine was seized as per the signal of the Public Prosecution Appeals in Mount Lebanon. He was later referred to the Central Office for the fight against drugs.
