Airport Customs foil drug smuggling attempt into Lebanon

Customs Authorities at Beirut International Airport foiled this evening an attempt to smuggle some 1300 g of drugs into Lebanon, National News Agency correspondent reported on Thursday.
In details, Customs personnel seized 1300 g of narcotics that are believed to be cocaine, carried by a man with a Venezuelan passport, who was returning from Costa Rica via Frankfurt.
The drugs were put inside small side pockets, packed inside Nylon bags, wrapped with carbine paper to avoid scanners.
