On September 15th, a seven-year-old boy was shot and killed by his 12-year-old friend in south Lebanon.
Seven-year-old Yehya Ali Maatouk died after his friend Mehdi Maatouk told Yehya to "come learn how to shoot," before pulling the trigger of his gun and hitting Yehya in the chest. Yehya succumbed to his wounds immediately.
The incident took place in south Lebanon's Nabatieh.
Mehdi Maatouk was detained by the Internal Security Forces.
