During December 1989, the fighting saw at least 10 people killed and tens wounded in West Beirut and Iqlim al-Tuffah; it was not clear how many were fighters and civilians. On December 23, 30 people were killed and 100 wounded,662 and on December 26, 50 people were killed and 175 injured in those areas.
