لدى توافر معلومات لمديرية المخابرات حول فقدان طفلة سورية في جرود منطقة المصنع - البقاع، توجهت دورية من المديرية المذكورة إلى جرود المنطقة وعملت على تفتيشها بشكل دقيق، إلى أن تم العثور على الطفلة، وهي بحالة صحية حرجة، فتم نقلها إلى أحد مستشفيات المنطقة لتلقي العلاج المناسب.

كما أوقفت قوة من الجيش 32 شخصا من التابعية السورية لمحاولتهم دخول الأراضي اللبنانية خلسة من جهة منطقة المصنع. وأحيل الموقوفون على القضاء المختص وبوشرت التحقيقات
