August 17, 1985: In the northern suburbs of Beirut, on the Jal al-Dib–Antelias Highway, 31 civilians, including at least 4 women, were killed, 1 missing, and 85 civilians wounded in a 250-kilogram hexogen bomb that was placed in front of a supermarket at a busy hour.
