الحاقا لبلاغنا السابق، المتعلق بقيام شعبة المعلومات في قوى الامن الداخلي بتاريخ 11/12/2017 بعمليات رصد ومراقبة في المناطق التي تحصل فيها عمليات سرقة السيارات، وتنفيذ كمائن عديدة على المسالك التي تستخدم لنقلها الى البقاع، ومنها الى الاراضي السورية، والتي أسفرت عن توقيف 3 من أفراد عصابة سرقة سيارات اضافة الى ضبط 3 منها.
بتاريخ 14/12/2017 وفي بلدة عين الذهب / عكار، وبنتيجة المتابعة من قبل هذه الشعبة لعمليات المراقبة، تمكنت من ضبط سيارتين نوع "كيا سبورتاج"مخبأتين في احراج البلدة المذكورة، كانتا قد سرقتا من منطقتي الحدث وبلاط فجر تاريخ 11/12/2017.
