Authorities Wednesday called on Lebanese who believe they have been paid with fake checks issued by a non-existent fuel distribution company in Lebanon to speak with police in Metn.

The call came after State Security announced the arrest of three men in Metn’s Mansourieh area with counterfeit checks in the name of a non-existent fuel distributor. The men were then found to have a large number of arrest warrants against them, a statement from the State Security reported.

The suspects were named as Antoine E.K., Toni A.N. and Edwar M. The men’s photographs were released and authorities called on anyone who believes they have been paid with a fraudulent check by the men to report the incident to the Mount Lebanon regional office of State Security in Metn.
