Three 19-year-old boys in the Bekaa region were arrested for murder, the Internal Security Forces announced Monday. The three teenagers, identified as Aa.K., H.K., and Aa.K., were apprehended, following a police search that lasted over a week.

On June 21, the 19-year-olds allegedly murdered Aa.D. in the Bekaa town of Boudai, following a dispute. H.K. reportedly attempted to resist arrest by reaching over and trying to forcibly take a police officer's handgun, only to shoot himself in the foot. A local police force confiscated an AK-47 rifle and a military-grade handgun. H.K. was taken to an unnamed hospital in the area. The first and second detainees were also found to be wanted on previous charges of theft and attempted murder.
