Two individuals were arrested in Dahr al-Baidar for stealing a pickup truck, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency reported.

Police found "sharp tools" often used to break into vehicles in the car belonging to 28-year-old Palestinian H.Kh. at the Dahr al-Baidar checkpoint in east Lebanon.

He admitted to stealing a black Ford pickup truck, which belonged to a Syrian identified by his initials as F.S.

H.Kh. also said that he had spoken with F.S. and that the latter had agreed to return the car in exchange for money.

He added that he had stolen the car "under the influence of drugs" and named his accomplice Aa.Sh., who was later arrested.
