On 17 Feb 16, media reported that a young man died of his wounds on Tuesday evening after being stabbed by two men during a brawl in Beirut's Ashrafieh district. The verbal dispute soon escalated into a fistfight during which the two young men stabbed him several times. The two assailants fled the area before being eventually arrested by an undercover police patrol, identifying them as 19-year-old Palestinian national Ahmed Saad and 31-year-old Lebanese citizen Hassan Faqih.
