A verbal spat between the 22-year-old suspect and 20-year-old M.N. evolved into a shootout late Tuesday in Khalde, south of Beirut.
The suspect reportedly began shooting at people in the area using a rifle, killing a 13-year-old boy and slightly wounding another.
