Souairi residents and mukhtars stage a sit-in at the entrance of the municipality to protest tree cutting and water cuts, and to protest the arrest of needy local residents who cut trees in winter
نفذ اهالي بلدة الصويرة في البقاع الغربي اعتصاماً سلمياً على مدخل البلدة، احتجاجاً على قطع الاشجار والتوقيفات العشوائية التي تطال الابرياء والمداهمات التي لا تراعي حرمة المنازل. وشارك في الاعتصام المخاتير والمشايخ والفاعليات، وشددوا على "وجود الدولة لمساعدة الناس المحتاجين ومنعهم من قطع الاشجار واطلاق سراح الابرياء من البلدة خاصةً المسؤول عن تحويل المياه الى البلدة لان المياه الشفة مقطوعة عن الناس منذ اكثر من عشرة ايام. يذكر أن الاجهزة الامنية كانت قد اوقفت حوالي 30 شخص وتلاحق 60 آخرون، على خلفية قطع الاشجار بهدف التدفئة في السلسلة الشرقية لخراج بلدة المنارة.
