Employees of mobile companies Alfa and Touch stage a sit-in to demand better health coverage
وطنية - المتن - نفذ موظفو "تاتش" و"ألفا" اعتصاما احتجاجا على تمديد عقد التأمين الصحي حتى 15 شباط المقبل بالشروط نفسها، وغياب التغطية الاجتماعية والصحية، في ظل تخطي سعر صرف الدولار الـ25 ألف ليرة لبنانية. وهدد المعتصمون ببدء إضراب ابتداء من يوم غد الجمعة ، ومن المحتمل أن يطاول وقف التشريج وبيع الخطوط. إشارة الى أن هناك اجتماعا للموظفين مع النقابة بعد ظهر اليوم.
وطنية - ينظم موظفو شركة "تاتش" اعتصاما في باحة الشركة الساعة الحادية عشرة قبل الظهر، احتجاجا على تردي وضعهم الاجتماعي، ورفضا لتمديد عقد التأمين الصحي بالشروط نفسها، "ما يخالف عقد العمل ويرتب مصاريف ليس باستطاعة احد تأمينها"، بحسب الموظفين.
A statement from the Cellular Operators Syndicate wrote: “After we were informed today that the health insurance contract for Touch employees has been extended until February 2022 in a manner that violates the collective labor contract and incurs expenses for the employees that no one can secure, the syndicate held a series of meetings today.” The most recent was with the management of Touch, where the administration informed syndicate members that “it stands by the employees in this difficult stage and that it will resort to taking the necessary measures tomorrow and coordinate with the Telecommunication Ministry to resolve the issue of health insurance.”
