أفادت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي ـ شعبة العلاقات العامة بأنه "بتاريخ 17/12/2018 أقدم مجهولون على سرقة مبلغ 7 ملايين ل. ل. و جهازي ups وكاميرا مراقبة عدد 2، من مطعم في مدينة صيدا ونتيجة الاستقصاءات والتحريات التي قامت بها شعبة المعلومات في قوى الامن الداخلي، تمكنت من معرفة هوية المشتبه بهما، وهما م. ف. من مواليد عام 1984، لبناني الجنسية وا. ح. من مواليد عام 1988، سوري الجنسية
