أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي انه نتيجةً للمتابعة والرصد، وفي إطار مكافحة عمليات تهريب الأشخاص من سوريا إلى لبنان، تمكنت شعبة المعلومات في قوى الأمن الداخلي، من توقيف /21/ شخصاً من التابعية السورية، بينهم ثلاث سيدات، وذلك بتاريخ 13/12/2018 ، في بلدة الصويري _ البقاع الغربي، بجرم دخول الأراضي اللبنانية خلسة.
