Security forces Saturday raided and shut down an unlicensed cosmetic surgery clinic run out of a man’s apartment in Zouk Mikael, a Health Ministry statement said.
The ministry said the raid had taken place at a man’s apartment as women were in the home waiting to undergo procedures. The security forces also seized medical equipment during the raid.
The man was identified as a Lebanese national, but further details about him were not provided. He was reportedly helped by his wife, whose identity was not disclosed.
