A group of protesters gathered outside the Parliament building demanding that MPs lift all of Lebanon’s official reservations to a United Nations convention calling for gender equality, the state-run National News Agency reported.
The protest, organized by the “My Nationality Is My Dignity” campaign, took place in Riad al-Solh during the morning legislative session.
